The first Ska Nation concert was held on Melbourne Cup Eve (Melbourne
Cup day being a public holiday) Monday November 3rd 2008 at CBD night club in Melbourne. The Concert featured Streetlight Manifesto from New Jerey, USA, Dan Potthast from California, USA and locals including The Resignators, Ska Vendors, Tabasco Junkies, The Reefs, Nicky Bomba and the reformation of Commissioner Gordon.

Needless to say the initial Ska Nation concert was a great success!

In 2009 a group of ska fans got together to plan a second instalment of Ska Nation. Focus Group Music was formed and took on the task of making the concert bigger
and better.

Area 7 headlined a 2 day festival of ska with the One Night band from Canada, Dan Potthast from the USA and a bunch of local bands to compliment the line ups.

2010 and the line up for Ska nation twenty 10 has been released (see events page) and I'm sure you're all as excited as we are. Lock in October 30th, 31st and November 1st for a weekend of all things ska....
